At the 70 th anniversary of the death of Madame Bolduc, La Radio-Canada has two television specials, in addition to offering a very interesting web folder as a tribute to this pioneer of the song.
Firstly, the first chain, Diouf leads a two-hour program entitled "The honky-tonk on the tip of the tongue." We dwell on the theme of migration, with among others the participation of Hassan El Hadi and Juan Sebastian Larobina. Marc Bolduc, my co-animateur/producteur, was interviewed as part of the show. We do not know if it was selected for installation!
Then, at 20h, on Espace Musique, listen to the tribute show presented by Monique Giroux and guests live from The Astral. Entitled "The Tower Bolduc, the show presented during the Montreal High Lights is among others featured Martin Leon, Damien Robitaille and Mara Tremblay (which is part of the mosquitoes that were singing songs of La Bolduc).
Please note, the show will be shown live on the site Radio-Canada.ca/bolduc which also includes excerpts from rehearsals, a biography, photos, links etc.. The show will be available for viewing for 1 year.
