The Montreal High Lights Festival in full swing since 17 February and ends Sunday next. And what strikes me this 12th edition is that the traditional Quebecois music occupies a respectable place:
-
The 23 and 24 February, you can watch the show by Yves Lambert Bebert his orchestra with opening Juan Sebastian Larobina. (In fact, Wednesday night before the show will launch its new album Somos). (Update, I just learned that the show was canceled Thursday 24th) - February 24, the trio De Temps Antan present at the Gesu premiere his show "The clothes of paper" directed by Michel Faubert.
- Initially the festival, the brigade t animated the Old Port (sorry to announce late!)
- This weekend, as part of Nuit Blanche, an evening around the fire by the Cabaret du Roy and hosted by Mia Lacroix will enhance the repertoire of naughty traditional Quebec songs.
